Tony Gualtieri was for several years the host of The Classical Salon on KUSF-FM in San Francisco.  He received his M.S. in probability and statistics from Michigan State University and now works for Kellogg analyzing experiments on breakfast foods.

Michael McDonagh is a poet and critic living in San Francisco.  His writings have appeared in numerous publications including In Tune magazine.  He currently contributes to The Bay Area Reporter, 21st Century Music, New Music Connoisseur, the site San Francisco Classical Voice, and sometimes writes CD booklet notesHe heads the Duke Ellington Society's Bay Area Chapter, which meets bi-monthly at San Francisco's Fort Mason Center. And he's happy to report that composer Lisa Scola Prosek, who studied with Babbitt, Foss, and Cone, made a song cycle, Miniature Portraits, from six of his poems, which was successfully premiered in July 2001 at San Francisco's Goat Hall, by soprano Diana Landau, with the composer at the piano.
